Sponsor guide: fund recognition, see aggregate impact

Sponsors help make the physical program possible. They receive approved brand presence and program-level reporting while family claim information stays private.

Sponsor and reward partner are different jobs

Sponsor
Supports the cost and visibility of the league program. A sponsor profile may appear on approved public pages and may link to a league-approved destination.
Reward partner
Provides the actual in-person offer, maintains locations and redemption PINs, and trains counter staff. A business may apply for both roles separately.

From interest to an active sponsorship

  1. 1

    League shares link

Open the league's sponsor page and review the program, tag quantity, listed cost, fee, and fee payer.

  2. 2

    Sponsor commits

Submit the responsible contact and intended amount. This records a nonbinding request, not an online charge.

  3. 3

    Offline completion

The league or BagTag operator confirms acceptance, agreement, payment instructions, remittance, and timing outside checkout.

  4. 4

    Workspace opens

After approval and invitation, authorized sponsor staff can manage profile and view aggregate results.

Sponsor workspace progression

  1. 1

    Accept the invitation

Use the invited staff email and the secure sign-in link. Invitations and sessions are personal and should not be shared.

  2. 2

    Review each league relationship

The same sponsor organization can support multiple leagues; each partnership has its own approval and reporting context.

  3. 3

    Submit a public profile revision

Add accurate brand copy and approved artwork. The league reviews changes before they replace live content.

  4. 4

    Configure a lead destination

Use a secure HTTPS page that matches the public call to action. BagTag validates and league staff approve the destination. The redirect drops visitor-supplied query values and sends only a destination-specific anonymous attribution code.

  5. 5

    Read aggregate metrics

Use scans, profile views, lead clicks, rewards issued, and redemption rates to understand program reach—not individual families.

  6. 6

    Manage sponsor staff

Sponsor admins invite or remove teammates. Analysts receive read-only aggregate access.

  7. 7

    Renew or close

Coordinate changes, cancellation, artwork retirement, and next-season support with the league in writing.

What sponsor metrics mean

Program view
An anonymous visit to an eligible public league or program page. Small counts may be suppressed to avoid implying individual behavior.
Sponsor impression
The sponsor card was included in a public page response under equal-rotation rules; it is not proof that a specific person studied the card.
Profile view
An anonymous visit to the approved sponsor profile page.
Lead click
A visit through BagTag's safe redirect to an approved external destination. The sponsor receives a destination-only pseudonym—not BagTag's browser identifier, a claim email, or a player identity.
Reward issued
A family verified an award within the sponsored program. The metric is aggregate.
Redemption rate
The share of issued entitlements that were confirmed at any eligible reward partner, subject to reporting windows.
