1. Nature of a commitment
A sponsor form submission records nonbinding interest and proposed commercial terms. It is not acceptance, an invoice, a card authorization, a charge, escrow, proof of payment, a tax receipt, or a guarantee of placement. A sponsorship begins only when the authorized parties accept written terms and any required payment is confirmed.
2. Parties and program
The accepted record identifies the sponsor, league, recognition program, term, amount, physical-tag quantity or cost basis, listed platform fee, fee payer, and deliverables. BagTag is a party only where the accepted writing names it; otherwise the sponsorship is between sponsor and league and BagTag supplies the platform.
3. Price and fee
The sponsor must review the displayed tag unit cost, quantity, sponsorship amount, and platform fee before submission. The current standard presentation may calculate a 10% platform fee and identify whether sponsor or league bears it; only the accepted written invoice controls. No party may change the fee payer or amount without written agreement.
4. Offline payment and remittance
BagTag does not currently provide checkout. The accepted instruction must state payee, payment method, due date, who receives funds, who is merchant or agent if applicable, whether and when any league check is sent, and the responsible contact. Do not send payment based solely on a public form. Receipts, refunds, chargebacks, custody, and remittance are governed by the accepted instruction.
5. No tax or charitable representation
BagTag does not certify the league's tax-exempt status, charitable registration, or the deductibility of a sponsorship. Advertising, acknowledgments, goods, or services may affect tax treatment. The sponsor should rely on documentation from the payee and its own tax adviser. A league must not call the amount a deductible donation without lawful support.
6. Deliverables
Deliverables may include an approved public sponsor card, profile, lead link, equal-rotation placement, and aggregate program reporting. No placement rank, impression, click, claim, redemption, sale, exclusivity, or business result is guaranteed unless the accepted writing expressly promises it.
7. Brand license and approval
The sponsor grants the league and BagTag a nonexclusive, revocable license during the term to display submitted marks and approved copy for the sponsorship. The sponsor warrants it owns or may license them. Revisions require review before publication. BagTag or the league may reject misleading, inaccessible, infringing, unsafe, political, age-restricted, or youth-inappropriate content.
8. Lead destinations
Any external destination must use HTTPS, match the approved call to action, avoid deceptive redirects or malware, and comply with law. The sponsor is independently responsible for its site, cookies, accessibility, privacy notice, marketing consent, products, and customer service. BagTag may disable a destination that changes or creates risk.
9. Reporting and privacy
Sponsor reporting is aggregate. Sponsors do not receive claim emails, player identities, game-level family histories, media permissions, or partner PINs. The sponsor must not attempt to re-identify a family, combine reports to infer an individual, or represent that claiming enrolls a family in marketing.
10. Sponsor staff
Sponsor admins manage their own organization members; analysts receive read-only aggregate access. Each person uses an individual invited account. The sponsor promptly removes departed staff and reports compromised access.
11. Compliance and reputation
The sponsor will comply with advertising, privacy, email, consumer-protection, intellectual-property, youth-safety, and industry rules; avoid misleading claims or inappropriate youth targeting; and not imply league, player, or BagTag endorsement beyond approved language.
12. Cancellation and refunds
Before acceptance, either side may decline a commitment. After acceptance, the written order must state cancellation deadlines and any refundable portion. Unless that writing or law says otherwise, custom tag production, completed services, earned platform fees, and delivered placement are nonrefundable; undelivered prepaid amounts are handled under the accepted schedule.
13. Suspension and termination
BagTag or the league may pause or remove sponsor content for nonpayment, expired term, material breach, unlawful or unsafe content, security risk, or harm to the youth program. On termination the sponsor stops using program marks and BagTag removes live placement within a reasonable operational period; accrued payment, confidentiality, audit, and liability terms survive.
14. Disputes and contact
Unless an accepted sponsorship order says otherwise, the public Terms' governing law, venue, disclaimers, and liability limits apply. Questions about amount, payment, remittance, tax documentation, or placement should go to the contact on the accepted order; platform legal questions go to support@bagtag.com.
