One physical tag. One verified moment. One local reward.
BagTag helps youth-sports leagues run a Player of the Game program without creating child accounts or turning recognition into a points system. Start high-level, then choose the guide for your role.
Choose your role
Every guide follows the screens and decisions that role actually uses.

How a BagTag moment moves
The physical award starts the experience; the platform verifies that the digital reward belongs to a real scheduled award slot.
- 1
Coach awards
A coach gives a physical tag plus that award slot's private handoff code after a game.
- 2
Family verifies
A parent scans the shared batch QR, chooses the team and game, enters the coach code, then verifies email.
- 3
Reward is issued
That verified claim creates exactly one entitlement across all available offers.
- 4
Partner confirms
The family chooses a location; staff confirms once and punches the physical tag.
What BagTag is — and what it is not
- Recognition operations
- BagTag connects a league's schedule, team, game, award slot, physical batch, family verification, reward, and redemption in one auditable flow.
- Not league registration software
- It does not register players, collect dues, run rosters, score games, or replace a league's primary schedule system. It imports only what validates an award.
- A sponsor-and-partner network
- Sponsors help fund the physical program. Reward partners provide the local in-person offer. One business can fill either role, but the jobs are different.
- Not a coupon book or points wallet
- A player receives one reward total for a verified award. There are no balances, points, cash value, transfers, or repeated use of the same entitlement.
- Family-friendly mobile web
- Families do not install an app or create a normal account. Email is used to verify and retrieve the award; children are not given platform accounts.
- Not individually serialized tags
- Tags in a production batch share a stable QR. A separate coach-issued code protects each award slot; BagTag still does not track one specific piece of plastic.
Who is responsible for what
| Role | Owns the decision | Never expected to do |
|---|---|---|
| League | Award rules, schedule accuracy, program approval, moderation, and local relationships. | Share family contact data with sponsors or make a child profile. |
| Sponsor | Sponsorship commitment, approved brand profile, and approved outbound lead page. | Choose winners, see family identities, or redeem awards. |
| Reward partner | Offer accuracy, locations, staff PIN security, and honoring valid confirmations. | Browse claims, collect family emails, or award extra redemptions. |
| Parent or guardian | Truthful claim, email verification, reward selection, and optional media permissions. | Create a child account, expose a full name publicly, or upload media as a condition of receiving the reward. |
