1. Agreement and operator
These Terms are an agreement between you and BagTag LLC, doing business as BagTag ("BagTag," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the service, creating a workspace, accepting an invitation, submitting a claim, or confirming a reward, you agree to these Terms and the policies linked from them.
If you use BagTag for an organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Adult use and family flows
Administrative accounts and family claim, privacy, and media decisions are for adults. A claim submitter represents that they are at least 18 years old and are the player's parent, legal guardian, or another adult with lawful authority. BagTag does not offer child accounts.
3. What the service does
BagTag is not league registration, roster, scoring, payment processing, tax advice, a points wallet, a child social network, or a guarantee that a league, sponsor, or partner will perform its independent obligations.
- Connects a physical batch tag to a league recognition program.
- Matches a claim to a team, scheduled game, and available award slot.
- Requires the current coach-issued handoff code for that award slot before reservation.
- Uses adult email verification to issue one reward entitlement.
- Lets an eligible family choose and confirm one participating reward.
- Provides optional, separately consented story and media tools and aggregate program reporting.
4. Accounts, links, and credentials
Keep sessions, magic links, authorization links, verification links, invitations, location PINs, and other credentials confidential. Use a personal account and accurate information. Notify us promptly of suspected compromise. We may expire, revoke, or require re-verification of credentials to protect the service.
5. Claims and rewards
A family may claim only an award actually given by the league, must use the current private handoff code supplied for that award slot, and must provide truthful information. The shared batch QR does not by itself authorize a reservation. One verified award creates one reward total, subject to program dates, offer restrictions, availability, fraud review, and the Program and Reward Rules. Rewards have no cash value unless a specific offer expressly states otherwise.
6. User content
You retain rights you hold in text, images, and videos you submit. You grant only the licenses described in the versioned media release and choices presented at submission. You must have authority for every recognizable person and must not submit unlawful, unsafe, infringing, or misleading material. Optional content may be moderated, declined, unpublished, or removed.
7. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use and Content Guidelines. You may not bypass authorization, enumerate claims, reuse a reward, probe another tenant, scrape personal information, interfere with the service, impersonate another person or organization, or use BagTag information for unapproved marketing.
8. Third parties
Leagues, sponsors, reward partners, email providers, media providers, external lead sites, and other services may have separate terms and privacy practices. BagTag is not responsible for a third party's independent products, premises, offers, taxes, employment, or external site. Approved links are provided for convenience, not endorsement.
9. Availability and changes
We may maintain, secure, improve, suspend, or discontinue features. Internet, email, venue, and provider interruptions can delay a flow. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Material policy changes will be posted with an updated effective date and, where required, additional notice or renewed acceptance.
10. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access for security risk, unlawful use, false authority, material breach, nonpayment under a separate agreement, or risk to a child, family, league, sponsor, partner, or the platform. Rights and obligations that by nature should survive—including confidentiality, audit, intellectual property, payment, limits, and dispute terms—survive.
11. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." BAGTAG DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Nothing excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BagTag is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost goodwill, or loss of data. Any aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of amounts paid by the claimant to BagTag for the affected service in the prior 12 months or US $100, except where law or a signed business agreement requires otherwise. This limit does not apply where it is unlawful or to obligations expressly carved out in a signed agreement.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Florida, without applying conflict rules that would require another law. Unless applicable law requires otherwise or a signed agreement controls, disputes may be brought in Tampa, Florida. The parties should first send a written notice describing the issue and allow 30 days for an informal resolution.
